Data Analytics Power BI Developer

Job Description: The Data Analytics Power BI Developer is responsible for interacting with key business users to support the data analytics and visualization needs within Mercedes Benz Financial Services. This role will work as a member of a multi-functional team and participate in design, development, and deployment of analytic solutions. Responsibilities will include development of new dashboards/reports, production support (root cause analysis), ad-hoc reporting, and data model design support. Job Description: Development of visualizations and reports using Power BI Conversion of Cognos reports and end-user computing (e.g., MS Access, MS Excel, SAS) to Power BI automated reports and visualizations. Support special initiatives/projects assigned to the domain. Work with Data Management team and business users as needed to define new data analytics, including gathering requirements, documenting requirements and data mappings, unit testing and user acceptance testing. * Provide formal and informal reporting training for the user community. Additional Skills: Requirements: 1. Technical skills: 1. Ability to design/architect innovative Power BI solutions 2. Advanced understanding of Power BI on the cloud 3. Well versed with SQL, DAX and M Query Language. 4. Experience in data preparation and data warehousing projects 5. Good understanding of the Dimensional modeling. 6. Prior experience in converting Cognos reports to power BI preferred. 7. Prior experience with the implementation of data anonymization and pseudonymization concepts is preferred. 8. Experience with Data Lakes and Data Bricks in Azure preferred 9. Experience with JIRA and Confluence preferred 10. Relevant experience: 6-8 years 2. Process and soft skills 1. Consulting internal customer on the way to develop high-quality dashboards 2. Able to present and communicate in front of stakeholders 3. Agile working experience 4. Good team player
