In this role, you will:Manage the activities of a loan production, loan servicing, and commercial or real estate construction loan team responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activitiesEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the lending operations functional areaIdentify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the lending operations functional areaParticipate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelinesOversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policiesMake credit decisions and resolve issues regarding performance of a business unit or functional area to ensure business objectives are metInterpret and develop policies and procedures for functional areas with low to moderate complexity, and with accountability for special portfolio segments requiring focused managementCollaborate and consult with lending operations peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers accountable for providing quality customer service to internal or external customersManage allocation of people and financial resources for lending operationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentRequired qualifications:4+ years of transactions and processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experienceDesired qualifications:Commercial operations experienceLoan IQ proficiencyProject management experienceAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsLeadership skills including coaching, training, and mentoringAbility to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement changeAbility to identify risk exposures and propose solutionsAbility to research and report on a variety of issues using problem solving skillsAbility to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiencyAbility to track and report, help identify and streamline processesSolid conflict management and decision-making skillsJob expectations:Ability to work in office at posted location for a minimum of three days per weekAbility to work additional hours as neededPosition is not eligible for visa sponsorship or transfer or visa sponsorshipPrimary posting location:1525 W W T Harris Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262-8522We value equal opportunity.
