Payroll And Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll and Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, offering a strong pathway to a long-term position following a 68 week evaluation period. The ideal candidate will assist with payroll processing and accounts payable functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial operations.Responsibilities:Process weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy in employee data, hours worked, deductions, and tax reporting.Collaborate with payroll service providers to manage tax filings and compliance-related tasks.Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies using analytical skills to maintain data integrity.Handle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments.Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records within accounting systems.Work closely with team members to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to payroll and accounts payable.Support audits and reporting requirements by providing organized and accurate documentation.Assist in onboarding new processes or tools related to payroll and accounts payable functions.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, accounts payable, or a related accounting role.Proficiency in using payroll and accounting software, with experience in Foundation Software preferred.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.Familiarity with multi-state payroll processes and compliance standards.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new systems and procedures.Strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.Experience managing payroll for 101500 employees is a plus.
