Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.Work Week Start: Sunday Work Week End: Thursday Work Start Time: 7:00 AM Work End Time: 3:30 PMThe Warehouse Specialist accurately fills customers' parts orders, maintains inventory, processes returns, and maintains tools in a safe, timely and courteous manner using approved Duncan Aviation procedures. In addition, this position professionally responds to internal and external customer parts' inquiries using the highest standard of customer service; prepares parts for shipping, and/or receives incoming shipments in a safe, timely and courteous manner using approved Duncan Aviation procedures; and loads and unloads delivery trucks using forklift. Essential Job Functions:Performs accurate and timely warehouse functions in the following areas. Fills customers' request for parts including verifying proper quantities, part numbers, part description, condition code, lot numbers/expiration dates, etc.Responds to internal and external customers' inquiries regarding parts issues including tracking of goods using internal and external systems and researching open orders and lost partsMaintains integrity of inventory system by accurately documenting parts' movements in the computer as well as the RF System (i.e. warehouse moves, order fulfillment, credits and put a ways, etc.)Maintains accurate inventory by performing RF cycle counts and manual countsHandles returns, credits and salvages as necessaryPrepares parts shipments by inspecting and safely packaging parts, performing shipment entry, producing correct documentation and accurately coding shipping costs for billingProcesses incoming shipments, verifies shipment with purchase orders, and visually inspects materials for damage, quantity, descriptions, part number, serial number, condition order, etc. per FAA regulations and Duncan approved proceduresUnloads and loads delivery trucks using a forklift in a safe and timely mannerVisually inspects materials for obvious damage, properly documents any damage(s), and notifies appropriate team member of any damageCoordinates emergency shipments with appropriate carrier according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures as necessaryPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.Minimum Education Required: High School/GEDJob Category: OperationsAdditional Qualifications/Responsibilities:Job Specific Requirements Licenses/Certificates: Forklift Certification; valid driver's License and acceptable driving record; Shipping and Receiving Auditor designation; Hazardous Materials Shipping Certification eligibleAttendance: Regularly scheduled attendance requiredPhysical: Repetitive motion; reads small print; routinely lifts up to 50 lbs.; proficient keyboarding and data entry; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing and sittingEnvironmental: Tolerates working in extreme temperatures and noisy environmentsAvailable BenefitsRelocation Assistance is available for those that qualify.
