Role Description

This is an on-site internship role as an Assistant Superintendent at Pillar Exterior Construction located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks related to construction projects. This includes coordinating and supervising subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assisting with project documentation and reporting. We are actively looking for a candidate willing to learn and grow in this position and will evaluate performance upon project completion for potential permanent hiring. The job tasks will primarily consist of assisting with on-site coordination, weekly field reports, and aid with driving and gathering necessary materials and equipment needed for the jobsite.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge in the construction field, preferred but not required.
  • Experience or coursework in construction management or related field, preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with computers, the programs themself we are willing to teach on the job. Microsoft/Adobe/OST/REVU/Bluebeam/Etc.
  • Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation
  • We can be flexible with working hours with the correct candidate.
