Journeyman Electricians WantedOur client, an automotive manufacturer in the Holland MI area, is looking for Journeyman Electricians for 2nd and 3rd shifts Join the team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician and be at the forefront of keeping our clients' operations running smoothly. We're looking for a skilled technician who excels in electrical and mechanical repairs. If you're passionate about maintaining equipment, solving technical challenges, and ensuring safety, apply nowResponsibilities:Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring uninterrupted power for machinery, production equipment, and lighting.Diagnose and program PLCs to optimize machinery performance and efficiency.Identify and resolve machine malfunctions and electrical issues by disassembling, adjusting, or replacing components as needed.Wire control panels, distribution centers, machine controls, switches, timing devices, and lighting systems.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to execute safe and effective repairs and installations.Make swift emergency repairs to prevent production delays when required.Perform installations, create layouts, and manage bills of material based on engineering specifications.Qualifications:Certification: Must be a Journeyman Electrician. Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, with a solid understanding of electrical concepts, practices, and theory.Troubleshooting: Skilled in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical control circuits, transformers, relay logic, LVDT's, and programmable logic controllers.If you have had similar titles, we encourage you to apply Electrical Maintenance Technician, PLC Technician, Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Systems Specialist.
