Retail Sales AssociateFireside Hearth and Home (FHH) is looking to add a Retail Sales Associate in our Roseville, MN. Fireside Hearth & Home is the world's largest and leading fireplace installing distributor and retail dealer in North America and a subsidiary of Hearth & Home Technologies - the largest manufacturer of fireplace products and an HNI Corporation operating company. Fireside is a team of 400+ hearth experts located across 6 regions, 12 states and 29 branches across the USA. This position is accountable to meet or exceed Fireside Hearth & Home retail sales goals by selling hearth products, services, and accessories. The position must provide best-in-class consumer buying experiences by engaging retail store guests, developing a whole-hearth solution to meet their needs, and driving the sale to completion.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Key Responsibilities:Meet and exceed sales goals utilizing dynamic sales skills within the retail sales processExceed customer expectations through all required steps of the remodel process by working closely with customers to understand project needs and timelinesSystematically manage all customer sales to project completion, including quotes, orders, previews, installations and start upsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and be extremely diligent with follow upBecome a trusted and knowledgeable Hearth Expert through a comprehensive 3-month training program, providing in-depth understanding of the hearth industry, products and installationCollect and process payments from customers and balance daily businessAnswer incoming phone calls to the showroomProvide basic showroom maintenance and merchandising of productsComplete inventory management as well as receiving in/out productAssist in training newer Retail Sales RepsQualifications:3+ years successful sales experienceHigh School Diploma required or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree in sales, business administration, marketing preferred)Able to work evenings and weekends, with limited time off between Labor Day and New YearsDriven, energetic sales professional with strong commitment to customersAbility to learn quickly and retain informationStrong sense of interior design (preferred)Experience within the residential construction industry, building materials, appliance installation or retail is highly desiredAbility to lift 50lbs. with assistanceAttention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHearth & Home Technologies is a part of the Residential Building Products segment of HNI Corporation.
