Role Overview:

As a Progressive Care RN, you'll provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical conditions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. Your role will involve:

  • Patient Care: Delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in our progressive care unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Advanced Skills: Utilize your expertise in managing patients with acute and chronic conditions. You'll be working with advanced technology and will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in critical care.
  • Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and care plans. Advocate for patient needs and work to ensure the highest standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a progressive care or critical care setting. Experience working in LTACH is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required. PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) or equivalent certification is preferred.
