Accounts Receivable SpecialistOur client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the invoicing, collections, and payment processing functions within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will leverage strong Excel skills to track receivables, generate aging reports, and ensure the timely collection of outstanding balances.Key Responsibilities:Generate and distribute invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, analyze outstanding balances, and proactively follow up on past due accounts.Conduct collections activities via phone, email, or mail to resolve payment issues and improve cash flow.Apply incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts in accordance with company procedures.Collaborate with internal departments (sales, shipping, customer service) to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain accurate records.Prepare periodic reports on A/R status, aging summaries, and collection metrics utilizing advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.Maintain compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.Requirements Qualifications:Previous experience in accounts receivable, preferably within the manufacturing industry.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data organization.Working knowledge of ERP systems or accounting software; experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred.Detail-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
