Job Description At NorthBay Health the C/T Technologist performs general radiographic studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Scans and organizes images, completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Performs bedside radiography. Assists with clerical duties. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Reports equipment malfunctions. QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course or training and experience prior to 2000. Licensure: Current CACRT with Fluoroscopic permit. Possession of a venipuncture permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a venipuncture permit with 10 venipunctures after January 1, 203, and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire. AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required. Experience: Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least one year of C/T. Skills: Some clerical and computer experience. Practices principles of ALARA. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the True North values.
