IT – Technician/DBA & GIS Analyst


We need help analyzing spatial data, creating maps, to help us maintain the database and IT infrastructure.

GIS Analysis:

·Analyze spatial data to support decision-making processes.

·Create and maintain GIS maps, layers, and geodatabases.

·Conduct spatial analyses and modeling to identify trends and patterns.

·Collaborate with teams to integrate GIS data into various projects.

Database Administration:

·Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity and security.

·Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries.

·Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures.

·Conduct regular data backups and recovery operations.

IT Support:

·Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.

·Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including servers, networks, and workstations.

·Ensure network security and monitor for potential vulnerabilities.

·Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and IT support.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in spatial analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data processing and automation is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.



Compensation:

$48/hr to $55/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
