Description Join the Dynamic Digital Modernization Group at Leidos We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Site Quality Assurance Technician to contribute to the Navy's Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Piers Connectivity Services program. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with one of the largest combined networks in the world, providing secure IT services to over 600,000 users and more than 400,000 hardware devices across numerous sites. What You'll Get to Do: Support the Site Lead in daily operations, guiding site resources and collaborating with customer leadership. Help manage both internal and subcontractor teams, coordinating staffing, scheduling, training, and quality assurance. Assist in project status review meetings with team members and clients. Monitor connectivity services for naval vessels, ensuring timely execution of connect/disconnect services. Conduct network operations and tasks related to cable maintenance and repair. Prepare comprehensive reports to quantify contract deliverables, focusing on IT services and navy connectivity requirements. Foster a collaborative work environment by supporting knowledge transfer and skill enhancement activities among team members. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and navigate confined spaces. Comfortable working in noisy environments and standing or sitting for extended periods. Utilize basic hand tools for rack mounting equipment. Possess normal color vision and correctable vision for reading schematics. You'll Bring These Qualifications: High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience. U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance. DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or similar certification. Demonstrated knowledge in IT Enterprise Operations. Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong analytical skills. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Experience with fiber optic cabling and repairs. Prior management experience in technical operations.
