Production Coordinator (Composites)As a Production Coordinator for our Composites at Impulse, you are responsible for serving as a liaison between all ancillary input and output organizations to ensure that components and assemblies flow smoothly through the production areas to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate courier/freight requests to ensure all outside processing requests adhere to scheduleManage vendor communication confirming shipping readiness, document accuracy, and RTVsCoordinate, schedule, and expedite testing resources to align with target completion datesCoordinate purchase order request with procurement team for outside processingSupport in the management of composite raw materials with expiration dates and temperature-controlled requirementsKit consignment work orders in preparation for shipmentsCreate and fulfill inventory requests based on demand and production scheduleInterface with supply chain, engineers, and technicians on the release and completion of work ordersSupport production and inventory personnel with "return to stock", replacement parts, and inventory purge actionsReconciliation of work order bill of material quantitiesMonitor, track, and move parts as required through the company to ensure timely delivery to next production locationPush/pull physical movement of parts through receiving inspection, stock areas, purchasing, production resources or any applicable work centerCommunicate part status and estimated completion dates to leadership upon requestSupport management of material certifications as required to prevent the use of uncertified materialsVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity, and revisions prior to release of work orders to productionCreate and improve systems used to keep components organizedWork with the planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our MRP/ERP data is and remains clean and accurateEnsure parts are handled and protected properly and within specificationsSupport team members to meet rate and quality targets at each workstation, and promote continuous flow by communicating blockers and reporting downtime to supervisors and specialistsAssist production leadership and project teams with action item updatesSupport projects or productivity development activities within the manufacturing teamMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate3+ years of supply chain, inventory or manufacturing experiencePreferred Skills and Experience5+ years of experience in space, electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturingExcellent computer skills (Email, Microsoft Windows, ERP/MRP/MES systems, iOS, Executing Custom Developed Software)Proficiency of MRP/ERP systemsExperience in aerospace, automotive, electronic manufacturing environmentExperience with SQL, python or programmingBachelor's degreeAdditional Information: Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
