Position: Linux System Administrator - Tier 2 Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph About the Role: Advance your career as a Linux Systems Administrator, working on critical cloud initiatives that support government operations. Collaborate with a skilled team to develop solutions that make a direct impact on public sector efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: Design & Develop: Implement and support robust cloud initiatives tailored to customer needs. Collaborate: Work within an Agile team to maintain program-owned applications (JIRA, Atlassian, BitBucket, RocketChat). Innovate: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to define network requirements and optimize user metrics. Maintain: Oversee infrastructure patching and OS baseline hardening for multiple Linux environments. Support: Ensure compliance with security standards in partnership with Enterprise Services. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2-4 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role. CompTIA Security certification required. Strong Linux expertise and familiarity with infrastructure management best practices. 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficiency in Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, RocketChat). Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph. Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud-based architectures and other cloud vendors. Understanding of automated testing and monitoring processes. Familiarity with Engineering Review Boards and Change Management.
