Be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.FULL-TIME - JANITOR/PORTER - 7AM to 3:30PM WORK: SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY OFF: MONDAY & TUESDAYWhat we offer:Compensation: $16.00 an hour, commensurate with experienceA culture of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision, and valuesMedical, dental, and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching, and telemedicine optionsPTO plans, plus company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchGrowth opportunities grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing onesHow you will make an impact:Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipmentEnsure proper handling and disposal of wasteUtilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setupsAssist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packagesRemove trash including, refuse and recyclingMaintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuumingWhat you will need:Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferredAbility to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the communityAbility to work independently and as a contributing team memberMay be required to maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is requiredPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
