Material Handler IThe Material Handler I will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within two Lyten warehouses. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records by completing transaction timely. The Material Handler will also be responsible for operating material handling equipment and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming materials per internal SOP.Store materials in appropriate physical warehouse locations and update electronically in ERP system.Issue indirect consumables to appropriate labs daily.Pick and pack materials for shipment to include Raw Material, Samples, Finished Goods, and RMA shipments.Load and unload trucks using material handling equipmentMaintain accurate inventory recordsAssist in performing cycle counts and physical inventoriesOperate material handling equipment, such as hydraulic lifts, gantry's, and pallet jacksFollow all safety procedures and guidelines including those for HazMat/ Dangerous goods.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent experience PLUS a minimum of 1 years of prior experience in a warehouse or stockroom/shipping environmentA minimum of 1 year of ERP experience preferably with NetSuiteAbility to operate material handling equipment, such as hydraulic lifts, gantry's and pallet jacksStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to travel between facilities and lift up to 70 poundsCompensation Range:The expected base salary range for this position is between $26.00 - $39.00. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise.Pay Transparency Disclosure:This compensation and benefits information is based on Lyten's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. We generally do not negotiate on salary once we have made an offer.
