This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan, and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.In this role, you will get to:Make an impact by contributing to the growth of the bank through business and commercial loans, deposits, and fee incomeExercise your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to engage with business owners in the communityWork in a supportive environment encouraging community and business development activitiesWork within a streamlined, timely, and efficient credit approval processBe a part of a collaborative team with various business services partners to support the full client relationshipThis position may be filled as a Business Banker II or III based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.Bachelors degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in business lending, credit, or business development.OrHigh school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years experience in business lending, credit, or business development.Additional requirements:Business development experiencePreferred qualifications:Established COIs and referral sourcesFinancial analysis and credit underwriting skillsKnowledge of business lending, deposit and cash management solutionsAbility to provide financial guidance and expertiseSales planning and forecasting experienceBenefits are an integral part of total rewards and First Citizens Bank is committed to providing a competitive, thoughtfully designed, and quality benefits program to meet the needs of our associates.
