Position Overview: As a Senior CAE Engineer specializing in Full Vehicle NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness), you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of vehicle NVH performance through advanced simulation techniques. You will be responsible for conducting complex analyses using industry-leading solvers and pre/post-processing tools to ensure the highest level of vehicle refinement.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead Full Vehicle NVH simulations, including Modal Analysis, Frequency Response Analysis, and Acoustic Sensitivity, utilizing Optistruct and Nastran solvers.
  • Construct, visualize, and analyze complex vehicle system-level CAE models using pre-processor/post-processor tools such as Ansa/Meta and Hyperworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define NVH performance targets and develop strategies for achieving them.
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and optimization studies to improve vehicle NVH characteristics.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior CAE engineers within the team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in NVH simulation methodologies and tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience as a CAE Engineer specializing in Full Vehicle NVH.
  • Proficiency in conducting Modal Analysis, Frequency Response Analysis, and Acoustic Sensitivity simulations using Optistruct and Nastran solvers.
  • Extensive experience with pre-processor/post-processor tools such as Ansa, Meta, and Hyperworks for complex vehicle system-level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis.
  • Advanced degree in engineering or a related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
