Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels, ensuring a balance between inventory turnover and out-of-stock conditions. Update purchase order dates and communicate with the sales team.
- Source new vendors internationally, request quotations, and verify items received. Maintain prices for specified products.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager on incoming shipments and interact with the marketing team for new item introductions. Prepare presentations for the sales team
- Resolve issues related to out-of-stock items, pricing, and special sales. Assist in investigations of shortages, mishaps, and item substitutions. Issue RMAs for returned merchandise.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years in purchasing in a warehouse environment.
- Proficient understanding of HTS codes (custom duty on imports)
