Teleflora provides innovative marketing, education and technology to make sure our member florists get the resources they need to thrive, creating beautiful bouquets with keepsake vases delivered to your door.The Territory Sales Manager is a seasoned, motivated, entrepreneurial and business minded sales professional who prospects, develops new business and services a strong network of existing retail florists in the Illinois and Indiana Market. The Teleflora Territory Sales Manager is a base + commission + bonus position tasked with maximizing total customers and total margin within the territory of existing member and prospective florists. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for adding new florists, selling services to existing member florists and retaining services and membership with the established account base. The primary objectives are achieved through a balanced approach of face-to-face, written and phone interactions with customers to achieve individual targets and company goals.Responsibilities include servicing an account base of approximately 375 member florists by representing Teleflora and establishing a relationship as a key account manager with owners and decision makers; identifying and selling prospective florists within the territory on the value proposition and benefits of being a Teleflora Member Florist; selling Teleflora's suite of services to both current and new members primarily consisting of eFlorist Web Hosting, Credit Card Processing, Point-of-Sale Shop Management Systems and other products as necessary; providing consistent and focused retention efforts for membership as well as retention efforts across Teleflora's suite of services; maintaining professional and industry knowledge by attending floral industry programs as necessary; understanding and utilizing internal sales tools (including Sales Dashboard and CRM), member statements, data and reports to maximize sales and retention and prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to member and prospective florists; establishing a daily, efficient operating rhythm characterized by a disciplined approach to the job and a steadfast commitment to targets & objectives; educating florists on Teleflora products to drive engagement across Teleflora's suite of services and to help florists achieve greater customer satisfaction through increased profitability; maintaining frequent and consistent business contact with florists to strengthen their relationship and engagement with Teleflora and regular business contact with internal support groups including Sales Operations, Customer Advocacy, Customer Service and Industry Relations; working with Regional Vice President to provide leadership in identifying opportunities within the territory and strategize the best approach to exceeding individual and company targets; collaborating with peers on best practices and techniques to help the team succeed; and 25%-50% overnight travel as required.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 5+ years experience in a territory management sales and service role; an impressive track record in sales & service including strong closing & negotiation skills; the ability to manage multiple products to hundreds of customers; proven ability to close and manage relationships both in person and over phone; strong time management, communication, execution and analysis skills required; the ability to work independently from a home office with travel; excellent teamwork, emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate very well; a solution oriented optimist, competitive, fast-paced and comfortable with a dynamic organization; and the ability to proficiently navigate Outlook, Excel, Word.Additional information includes access to top-notch medical coverage, comprehensive vision and dental plans, and a 401k with match eligibility to secure your financial future; 24/7 online physician consultations, virtual mental health resources, life coaching, engaging employee community groups, cash rewards for healthy habits and fitness reimbursements, and a library of on-demand fitness videos; clear paths for career progression and internal mobility across our diverse family of brands and business units; dedicated Learning and Organizational Development department, offering extensive resources like People Manager and leadership training, webinars, and eLearning courses; company-wide mentorship program to share goals, overcome challenges, and drive your career forward; training that empowers all employees to learn and implement concepts that drive significant, positive change in the workplace; and a focus on improving the social determinants of a healthy society-quality education and medical care, economic mobility, and a healthy environment-to help build thriving communities.
