This role involves collecting, processing, and maintaining accurate records of shipment data, inventory levels, and transportation costs. The Logistics Entry Analyst assists in preparing reports, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve logistics operations.Responsibilities:Data ManagementAccurately enter and maintain data in logistics databaseUpdate and reconcile data as neededIdentify and resolve data discrepanciesMonitor data quality and integrityGenerate and distribute reports on data metricsInventory ManagementTrack and manage inventory levelsCoordinate with vendors for timely delivery of goodsConduct regular inventory auditsIdentify and report inventory discrepanciesAnalyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvementSupply Chain CoordinationCollaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of productsCommunicate with suppliers and carriers to coordinate shipmentsMonitor shipment status and update relevant partiesMaintain accurate records of all supply chain activitiesIdentify and address any supply chain issues or delaysCost AnalysisMonitor and report on logistics costs and expensesIdentify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations for improvementAnalyze logistics data to identify trends and patterns related to costsWork with finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting for logistics expensesProcess ImprovementContinuously review and evaluate current logistics processesIdentify areas for improvement and make recommendations for streamlining processesImplement and track the effectiveness of process improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall logistics operationsComplianceEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policiesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practicesIdentify and report any compliance issues or concernsImplement and monitor compliance training for logistics team membersHigh Impact Behaviors:Continuous Professional DevelopmentCollaboration and TeamworkResults Driven PerformanceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.Basic understanding of inventory management principles and practices.Proficiency in inventory management software and data entry.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
