This is an interim non-exempt position. Successful completion and certification of the Branch Manager Readiness program is a pre-requisite to transition into a manager role, based on branch vacancy. Employees who are currently in an Associate Branch Manager (ABM) or Branch Manager (BM) role with Wells Fargo at the time of hire will not participate in the Branch Manager Readiness program. Our Branch Managers are responsible for leading, managing and developing a diverse team of direct and indirect reports, creating a culture that fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountability to business outcomes. Successful Branch Managers are able to lead a highly defined customer engagement process, coaching to specific behaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drive growth in the business, while also driving accountability for operational excellence. This involves executing policies and procedures in alignment with applicable regulations, as well as audit and escalation procedures, and managing the allocation of people and financial resources for the branch.In This Role You WillCoach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business; This includes coaching bankers to engage customers to understand their needs and work proactively to build relationships and help customers succeed financiallyResolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the team and the business to meet Branch Network business objectivesIdentify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options to support adoption and customer convenienceLead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners in collaborating and building strong partnerships to deliver a customer-centric experienceMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talentThis SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) website provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position. Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation.
