Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will define the design and build scalable data platforms that support our organization's data needs.
  • The Data Platform Lead will be responsible for developing robust data architecture, overseeing database management and optimization, and ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our data solutions.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of database technologies, cloud platforms, data integration techniques, and best practices in data management.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of demonstrable experience performing architecture design, end to end solution delivery,
  • Implementing IT process improvement as a Data Architect, Database Administrator, or similar role designing and implementing data platforms.
  • Expertise in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion, processing and integration techniques (e.g., ETL, ELT) and data Warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio) and proficiency in SQL and scripting languages.
  • Hands-on with some of the tech stacks from not limited to NiFi, Apache Spark and Airflow, HIVE, HDFS, API
  • Integration, Schema Registry, NiFi Registry, Bitbucket, S3, RDS, RedShift, Python, PySpark, Scala
  • Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Familiarity with applications used in the pharma domain like MES, LES, ERP, etc. is plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications in business or technology architecture are preferred.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure solutions Architect) is a plus.
