Description

We're seeking Senior Android Engineers to join our team, you will be working on exciting projects for one of our Partners, leaders in the online payment system.


Responsibilities

  • Work from the backlog of performance improvements already identified.
  • Lazy initialization of modules.
  • Application onCreate assessment.
  • Improve long-lived sessions API call latency.
  • Implement cache strategies.
  • Address each of the top ANRs on Android.
  • Implement observability gaps into the application.
  • Profile mobile apps, identify bottlenecks, research optimizations, and generate requirements to implement optimizations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working as an Android Engineer
  • Experience working with Android and Kotlin.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related.
  • Experience working on large-scale global apps comprised of 100s of modules required.
  • Experience profiling apps at scale, identifying improvements, and implementing them.
  • Familiarity with profiling back-end systems and identifying high-level bottlenecks.
  • Expertise at observability tooling including Datadog, New Relic, etc.
  • implementing measurement gaps to enable performance monitoring.
