Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Oncology

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking to employ a Full-Time (32 hours/week) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Oncology experience.
Our infusion visits for Chemo average at 130 visits/month (2023 ave 105 visits/month) and oncology clinic visits at 166 visits/month (2023 ave 152 visits/month). We have been experiencing stability and growth with our program and want to continue the trajectory.
The ideal candidate would have a special interest in providing full spectrum oncology/hematology in a rural community.
Partnership with a robust infusion center located next to the Oncology clinic.
Work in partnership with existing Board Certified Oncologists and experienced Oncology Physician Assistant.
Office space and examination rooms provided at hospital-owned specialty clinic.

Salary Range is dependent on contract and ranges from $94,000 to $136,00 yearly.

HRRMC is located in the majestic Upper Arkansas Valley in central Colorado. The local towns of Salida and Buena Vista are known for their pleasant weather, vast recreation opportunities and vibrant arts scene. Both towns are located along the Arkansas River at elevations above 7,000 feet near the Continental Divide. We're approximately 135 miles south of Denver and 100 miles west of Colorado Springs.

The Upper Arkansas Valley is an outdoor recreational dream. 80% of the land is public and six of every seven acres is designated as public lands, the Valley is the perfect location for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, trail runners, rock climbers, atving, and hunters. In the winter there are designated snowmobile routes and backcountry skiing. Monarch Ski & Snowboard Area is just 18 miles west of Salida (). The Arkansas River is best known for its world-class Brown Trout fishing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting.
