The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.


M-F 8a to 5p, 100% onsite


Note: The client can accept TN NAFTA Professionals, but no other type of Visa candidacy


Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain inspection process and PPAP procedures
  • Quality Quarantines
  • Nonconforming products
  • Quality Control Plans
  • Calibration Standards
  • Lead complaint and failure investigations, determine root cause and execute corrective action
  • Hire, manage, and train staff
  • Manage vendors


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be able to implement improvements at production floor level.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, primarily capability studies; Lean Manufacturing; SPC; and ISO framework.
  • Ability to manage multiple QA special projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to create daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to ownership.
  • Six Sigma green-belt preferred
