This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.


Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Administer the training and development of staff. Contribute to performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Inspect properties to ensure compliance with leases and proper upkeep of the property.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department goal dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Ability to proofread contracts and make necessary corrections.
  • Respond to raised tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare quarterly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Prepare and maintain lease files in accordance with company policy.
  • Oversee tenant improvement projects.
  • Apply knowledge of and how own field integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of tried experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate experience is highly desired.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of critical, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
  • Yardi Voyager software experience is preferred.
