Our Challenge:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a scalable and robust automation test framework using Selenium with Java.
- Lead the creation, execution, and maintenance of automated test scripts to support agile development cycles.
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans.
- Enhance and maintain existing automation scripts ensuring compatibility with evolving system changes.
- Mentor and guide team members on automation best practices and standards.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality code for test scripts and automation frameworks.
- Investigate, log, track, and triage bugs to ensure they are resolved effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and incorporate new testing tools and frameworks to improve the test process.
- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making.
- Work closely with CI/CD tools, integrating test suites into the deployment pipeline.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements:
You are:
- 9+ years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on using Selenium and Java for test script development.
- In-depth knowledge of core Java, including OOP concepts, collections framework, exception handling, and generics.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Proficient in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for web applications.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) is preferable.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
