In this role, you will oversee a team of investigators, providing guidance and support to our intake, pre-litigation, and litigation departments. Responsibilities include conducting field investigations, supervising investigative processes, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. The role requires local travel for scene documentation, witness interviews, and evidence collection, with occasional weekend or after-hours work.Key responsibilities:Supervise and mentor a team of investigators, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to firm standardsProvide investigative support to intake, pre-litigation, and litigation departmentsAnalyze and report findings from police reports, 911 calls, and other case materialsOversee and conduct background, asset, and social media investigationsLead witness interviews and ensure accurate collection of statementsDirect the identification and collection of video evidenceManage scene documentation through photography, measurements, and diagramsWrite, review, and approve detailed investigation reports in collaboration with management and attorneysRequired qualifications:7+ years' experience in personal injury law5+ years' experience investigating catastrophic and/or wrongful death eventsValid driver's licenseHigh school diploma or equivalentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to ensure team accuracySuperior communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities, delegate tasks, and meet deadlinesReliable transportationPrivate Investigator LicensePreferred qualifications:Bilingual (Spanish/English)Schedule & travel:Full-timeMonday through Friday with occasional weekend/after-hours work25% local travel expectedBenefits:Comprehensive benefits package including:Health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurance401(k) with company matchingPaid time off (after 90-day evaluation period)Parental leaveProfessional development assistancePerformance bonusesAmaro Law Firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
