Position Overview:
We seek a motivated Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in employment law to join our team. You will work closely with seasoned attorneys on various legal matters, from research and drafting documents to representing clients in hearings and litigation. This role offers valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and briefs.
- Investigate facts, interview witnesses, and inspect sites.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Prepare case evaluations on liability and damages.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
- Manage case deadlines and supervise paralegals and legal assistants.
Qualifications:
- Regular, reliable job attendance.
- Ability to meet and/or exceed billable hours and revenue metrics.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Wisconsin state bar in good standing.
- 1+ years of employment law experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Strong organizational, communication, and document editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
