Delivery ExpertWe are seeking a dedicated and efficient Delivery Expert to join our team in Suffolk, Virginia. As a Delivery Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.Responsibilities include:Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport orders to customers' locationsAccurately process customer orders, including receiving phone orders and using computer systemsHandle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring correct monetary changeMaintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and work areaAssist with inventory management and restocking suppliesCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periodsAdhere to company policies, food safety standards, and traffic lawsProvide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or special requestsPerform basic equipment maintenance and report any issues to managementAssist with additional in-store tasks as needed, such as food preparation or cleaningQualifications include:Must be 18 years of age or olderValid driver's license with a clean driving recordExcellent knowledge of Suffolk area and strong navigation skillsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accuratelyProficiency in using computer systems, including order entry and GPS navigationPhysical stamina to lift and carry deliveries (up to 25 pounds)Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standardsPositive attitude and customer-focused mindsetAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Previous experience in food delivery or customer service (preferred)Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, driving, and hand tasks. Team members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
