Location: Montebello Assessment Center, Northshore School District
Position Overview:
Northshore School District is excited to announce an opening for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at the Montebello Assessment Center. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality behavioral analysis services to our students and overseeing a dedicated team of support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage and oversee 8 student cases, developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans based on thorough assessments.
- Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to 8 RBT (Registered Behavior Technicians) and CBT (Certified Behavior Technicians) support staff, ensuring high standards of practice and adherence to behavioral intervention protocols.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior intervention plans across various settings.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress, adjust interventions as needed, and report on outcomes.
- Training & Development: Provide training and ongoing professional development for support staff to enhance their skills and ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing behavioral cases and supervising behavior support staff.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with students and staff.
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
