Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Tx. 77598 Floor: 3RD Floor Building: Heart Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): • Number of Beds - 24 • Number of Staff - 52 • Type of staff: o Day Shift - 1 Secretary, 1 Charge Nurse/CNC, 6- RN Floor, 2-3 nurse techs, sitters when needed o Night Shift - 1 charge nurse/CNC, 6 -RN/LVN floor, 2-3 nurse techs, sitters when needed • Patient Ratios - 4/5 :1 • Type of equipment - GE Bedside monitors, Welch Dinamaps, Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps • EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. • IMCU experience- chest tubes, bipap, trach, • Critical thinking • Cardiac Monitoring with interventions • Drip experience- Heparin, Amio, Cardizem, Milrinone, Lasix, Bumex, Insulin Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. • CV experience • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): • S/P TAVR, Watchman, heart cath with complications- difficult site, PCI, CABG, Pacemakers, ablations • Cardioversion Best personality Fit: • Respectful, team player, outgoing, positive attitude, care like family, eager and willing to learn, good communicator, connect with patients and family REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: • BLS, ACLS, NIH Floating Area(s): • Per AOS NEED- MEDSURG/IMCU Dress Code : • Scrub Color/Attire - Nurse - Royal blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. • Weekends and On call(if any) • Rotate weekends Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
