Position Summary: As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in project execution, ensuring adherence to schedules, codes, and design criteria. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks including calculations, report preparation, client interaction, and occasional site visits. This role demands flexibility, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
  • Review and understand approved design criteria and codes.
  • Define project deliverables based on scope.
  • Conduct and review design-specific calculations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on design criteria and equipment analysis.
  • Engage in client communication to review project status and deliverables.
  • Travel to client sites for meetings or data gathering.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to industrial facilities, which may involve noisy or extreme environmental conditions.
  • Demonstrate physical agility to climb stairs and walk on elevated platforms.
  • Flexibility for overnight travel.
  • Collaborate effectively within an office team environment.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Hold a valid driver's license.


Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; licensure not required.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings.
  • 3-5 years of experience applying mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; familiarity with Cesars piping software preferred.
  • Experience in preparing bid specification documents.
