Responsibilities

  • Ensure patients' direct care needs are met
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team in patient care
  • Exhibit professional accountability in all tasks
  • Consistently represent the hospital positively
  • Practice proper infection control techniques in all patient interactions
  • Work independently, making efficient use of time and resources, under the direction of the nurse(s) on duty
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for the population served
  • Become knowledgeable and compliant with departmental, hospital, fire/safety/disaster, educational requirements, and personnel policies
  • Follow the Corporate Compliance Program and maintain confidentiality standards
  • Support and adhere to the Mission and Values Statement of the hospital
  • Participate in and support the Continuous Quality Improvement process, providing optimal customer service
  • Develop and implement self-management skills


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting, preferred
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Washington State
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Bilingual, preferably English-Spanish
  • Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse population

Sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 offered (based on experience)
