You will orchestrate project activities throughout the lifecycle, including planning, monitoring, and execution, to deliver high value business and technology solutions.Essential Job FunctionsDefine, document, and adhere to project scope, utilizing change management processes when neededCreate and follow a work breakdown structure or similar project timeline/schedule, creating momentum and sustaining forward progressMonitor resources assigned to the project (bandwidth, performance issues, etc.)Document, track, and mitigate project-related risks and issuesDocument and track project-related decisions, action items, and other project-related artifactsComplete detailed, timely, succinct, and accurate documentation of meeting notes and other related itemsFacilitate project meetings in an organized and efficient manner (e.g., agendas, goals, decisions to be made)Organize, track, and report user acceptance testingCommunicate, both verbally and in writing, status and risks to senior and executive management and other business line leaders in a concise and factual mannerConsistently demonstrate an expert level of project management skill/knowledge and the ability to operate in accordance with Bank OZK's defined project management methodology, program and proceduresDrive teams to collaborate and successfully complete projects on schedule and within scope (budget tracking as determined)Effectively manage two to four, or more projects concurrently with minimal supervisionDemonstrate ability to grasp a project's subject matter to maximize oversight effectivenessPossess an exceptional ability to think in a tactical nature, recall details/facts, maintain current and accurate information, and discern potential problems or challengesPossess a high degree of behavioral aptitude specifically pertaining to leadership, communication, attitude, ethics, professional maturity, and cultural/situational awareness.Demonstrate effective project management skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detailDrive results in a professional manner to accomplish business objectivesEnthusiastically embrace, support, and model the bank's values and missionEnsure compliance with Bank OZK and internal/external regulatory policy, procedures, and guidelinesKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to set goals and build group morale and commitment.Ability to convey project expectations and monitor delegated activities.Ability to understand the business implications of tactical decisions.Ability to work without close supervision.Innovative and insightful leader with strong observation skills and attention to detail, capable of leading a team to successDemonstrates effective project management skills, including organization, time management, and attention to detailPossesses an exceptional ability to think in a tactical nature, recall details/facts, maintain current and accurate information, and discern potential problems or challengesTalent for translating big-picture goals into effective actionsBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred4+ years of work experience leading formal, professional-level projects requiredProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredJob Expectations Operate customary equipment and technology used in a business environment, with or without accommodation.
