Full-Time GuardRaytheon in State College, PA is seeking a Full-Time Guard for First shift to maintain security of the facility and to ensure a safe environment for employees. You must have the ability to work independently and with a team. This position requires the that you work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays. You must also work overtime as needed.What You Will DoOperate a security control center by monitoring closed-circuit television, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarm and HVAC systems.Respond to alarms and emergencies.Investigate unusual events and suspicious activities.Patrol the facility to inspect access points and conduct equipment, temperature and building checks.Open and close secure areas.Process visitors in and out of the facility.Make reports of violations, incidents, suspicious activities and facilities issues.Qualifications You Must HaveHS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experienceQualifications We PreferExperience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
