Executive Driver and Event Security SpecialistWe are seeking a highly professional and experienced Transportation and Event Security Specialist to provide top-tier transportation and security services for our executives and high-profile clients. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable travel while also managing security protocols for events and personal engagements. Our team is driven by a shared passion for solving the world's toughest challenges and creating a world that works better for everyone.As an Executive Driver and Event Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of GE Aerospace executives, clients, and attendees during high-level events and meetings. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may involve travel as needed. You will utilize advanced security strategies, route planning, and risk mitigation techniques to deliver exceptional operational support.Key responsibilities include:Route Planning: Utilize advanced route planning tactics, real-time traffic data, and other sources to ensure safe and efficient travel routes for high-level events and meetings.Fleet Management: Support the Global Security Team in developing and implementing initiatives for vehicle fleet management, ensuring operational readiness and efficiency.Confidentiality: Maintain a high level of discretion regarding VIP activities and conversations.Security Assessments: Assist in conducting thorough security assessments for event venues and surrounding areas to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.Security Protocols: Implement security plans and protocols to ensure the safety of attendees during events.Collaboration: Work closely with event organizers, law enforcement, and other security personnel to manage security operations effectively.Incident Response: Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms.Executive Support: Provide security and operational support for executives and clients during events, including risk mitigation and crisis response.Visible Presence: Maintain a visible security presence to deter potential threats.Post-Event Reporting: Prepare post-event security reports and provide recommendations for future improvements.The ideal candidate will have:Risk Assessment and Business Acumen: The ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential threats and vulnerabilities, and to develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Understand the internal and external factors that impact the organization including market trends, competitive landscape and regulatory requirements.Information & Analytical Thinking: The ability to collect, analyze and interpret information from various sources to anticipate and counteract potential security threats, while thinking critically and analytically to solve complex security problems and make informed decisions.Adaptability and Resilience: The capacity to adapt to changing security landscapes and recover quickly from setbacks or incidents.Interpersonal Skills & Customer Service: Strong interpersonal abilities, effective networking and collaboration capabilities, and cultural competence. High emotional intelligence and self-awareness are essential for fostering a respectful approach to security operations.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security policies, procedures, and incident reports to stakeholders at all levels.Project Management: The ability to plan, execute, and oversee security projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Required qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience as an executive driver and/or in event security.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.Proven experience in security operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.Ability to travel as needed for events.Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.GE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
