Position Summary:

The WMS Consultant is responsible for leading the WMS implementation, and will actively participate in the WMS design, configuration, test the supply chain platform and WMS implementation projects. Serve as the subject matter expert on Manhattan Associates (MA) Warehouse Management System (WMOS- SCOPE), based on an in-depth knowledge of Inbound, Outbound functions and the unique business requirements of the client.


Main Responsibilities:

· Identify functional requirements of the MA WMS application for retail, ecommerce, and 3PL distribution centers.

· Collaborate with client’s team during software design process to understand business requirements, business process, workflows, and data maps.

· Document business requirements, integration requirements, reporting requirements and use cases.

· Lead implementation from initial project conception through final installation.

· Works directly with the customer project team (primarily on site) during configuration, testing, training, and implementation phases.

· Design, configure and Implement Manhattan Associates WMS functions.

· Assist development teams and facilitate solution design sessions.

· Analyze and review WMS host Integration mappings and configure the integrations mapping in WMS.

· Develop design, configuration, standard operating process (SOPs) documents.

· Develop Test Plans and Test case.

· Facilitate and support functional and user acceptance testing.

· Monitor application performance and improve response times.

· Develop Prototypes/Proof of Concepts using new functionality in WMS.

· Consistently determine how to maximize business value from WMS.


Experience and Qualifications:

· 5-7 years of experience in development and support of IBM iSeries (AS400).

· Sound technical knowledge and hands on experience of RPG ILE, CLLE, DB2/400, AS400 commands, Implementer, SFTP, DDM, Journaling, Job & Queue Management etc.

· Should have experience in Manhattan PkMS/ WMi product.

· Perform the role of Manhattan WMS techno-functional consultant with the duties of business requirement gathering solution delivery, setup/configuration, testing, implementation and production support of various versions of Manhattan WMS.

· Assist the data integration requirements between external sources and Manhattan WMS.

· Provide post-implementations support for all delivered models and fix bugs reported by business users in various WMS components.

· Excellent business knowledge and working experience in Supply Chain Management process like Retail WMS for Store/DC/Customer fulfillments using WMS products.

· Should possess good analytical & communication skills.

· Mark magic Label design knowledge in AS/400.
