The Investment Operations Manager will be hands-on in supporting this 10-person company in investment/trading operations as well as internal back office operations of the firm.


Primary focuses for this role:

  • Trade processing, account reconciliation, portfolio administration, and routine day-to-day operations management.
  • Heavy interaction with internal portfolio managers and analysts, as well as external clients, brokers, auditors, and vendors.
  • Operational strategy and process optimization.
  • Risk, analytics, and compliance reporting.
  • Support for trading, compliance, and other technology systems.
  • Marketing and RFP support.


Ideal background:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Asset management industry experience with a focus on mutual funds, private funds, and/or institutional clients.
  • Strong with problem solving, process improvement, and setting efficiencies for investment processes and general business operations.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in the downtown Baltimore office Monday-Thursday/ Friday from home.
