- Contract, 4 Months (Possible Extension)
- This position is 100% onsite. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to Washington, DC 20024
- There will be six (6) weeks of classroom training, beginning on 9/30. Absences are NOT permitted during this period.
- This position is a typical Monday – Friday, first shift role. During ‘Open Enrollment Season’ (November – December), there may be some work required on Saturdays.
Overview
Our client is seeking 40 Enrollment Technicians to support ‘Open Enrollment Season’ for eligible members in the federal space. Core responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is entered into the system in an accurate and timely manner.
- Adhering to HIPAA guidelines and other relevant state and federal regulations, and company policies regarding compliance, integrity, patient privacy, and ethical billing practices.
- Enrolling subscribers and dependents for all business in a timely manner to meet the corporate objective of the issuance of timely and accurate ID cards.
- Processing terminations, coverage level changes, and other forms of subsequent enrollment activities for both paper and automated enrollment accounts.
- Resolving enrollment errors and reports in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Performing basic account installation functions, including review of group setup documentation, simple group structure setup, and coding on enrollment system.
- Meeting set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, internet research and email communication.
- Capability to navigate concurrently between multiple software systems with relative ease.
- Comfortable using technology and software systems.
- Possess a passion for Customer Service, innovative thinking and drive for results.
- Work experience in a production driven environment.
- Position requires performance in either service or claims for a minimum of 18 months at a meets standard level or above.
- Additional required experience includes use of automated systems PC or CRT proficiency.
- Softwares & Tools: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), WebEx, Adobe Acrobat.
- Must be able to attend all training sessions without absences.
- Must demonstrate proficiency and retention of training material through testing.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Exposure to project management.
- Exposure to health care, health insurance, and/or medical industries.
