Our client, a well-known global food and beverage manufacturer, is actively hiring a Project Engineer to join their team in Muscatine, IA

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will assist with all phases of the project including technical studies, design reviews, preparation of specs, and technical plans.


Responsibilities

  • Control expenditures within the limitations of project budgets
  • Provide support to factories to minimize production and maintenance problems
  • Apply engineering expertise to equipment design and quality improvement
  • Establish requirements and the process maps necessary to meet the customer's requirements
  • Develop the project scope, justification, and factory impact
  • Hire and supervise contractors in the scope of the project manager
  • Maintain technical files for vendors and manufacturers


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience managing capital projects
  • PMP or CM-certified
  • Hands-on experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Process Safety Management (PSM) and Pre-Startup Saftey Review (PSSR)
