Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Nursing Assistant at Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with the Labor and Delivery nursing team to provide direct patient care and support. Your day-to-day tasks may include assisting with patient admissions, monitoring vital signs, providing comfort measures, assisting with procedures/delivery, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. You will also collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
  • Knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and protocols
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients and the healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
  • Active certification as a Nursing Assistant or relevant healthcare certification
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
