Mechanical Project EngineerSelectek is partnering with a firm near Brookhaven, Georgia to hire a Mechanical Project Engineer on a contract-to-direct hire basis. Candidates will design industrial equipment and systems to be used primarily in the textile and plastic industries.Expected Pay Range: $37-$45 per hourLocation: Brookhaven, GA Schedule: Monday-Friday, normal workday hoursJob Duties:Design equipment based on customer specificationOversee project orders from design through commissioning, focusing on client interaction and deliverablesSelect and utilize drive components such as motors, reducers, bearings, and drivesProduce detailed part, assembly, and layout drawingsPerform risk assessments of machineryPrepare technical documentation, project manuals, and reportsJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering3+ years of machine design experienceProficiency with SolidWorksIdeal candidates also have experience working with sheet metalIn addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentationTo be considered for this position, apply via the link, or if email is more convenient, send an up-to-date resume to jfairbanks@selectek.com and reference this job posting.
