Outpatient Surgical Scrub Technician Competitive salary $73,000 - $110,000Day Shift: 7AM to 3PMJoin our dynamic surgical team We are seeking a dedicated and skilled O.R. Scrub Technician to join our outpatient surgical center. Role Overview: As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of surgical procedures. Your expertise in sterile technique and anticipation of surgeon needs will contribute directly to positive patient outcomes. You'll manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment, maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field. Accurately count and manage surgical instruments and supplies. Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures. Handle surgical specimens according to protocol. Prepare instruments for sterilization. Adhere to strict infection control and safety guidelines. Proactively identify and address equipment issues. Contribute to a collaborative and efficient OR environment. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. One of the following is required: Graduation from a CAAHEP- or ABHES-accredited surgical technology program with current CST certification. Completion of a military surgical technology program. Eligibility for grandfathering under New York State Public Health Law 2824. Currently serving in the federal government, performing related duties. Prior surgical technologist experience preferred. Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). Ability to maintain the 15 hours of continuing education credits as mandated by New York state. We Offer: Competitive salary ($73,000 - $110,000). Full-time, day shift hours (7a-3p).
