Quality Assurance SupervisorQuality Assurance Supervisor Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearJob Description: Mandia International is a fast-growing importer and manufacturer of specialty food oils serving national brands, retailers, and food manufacturers. We are building a modern, high-performance QA function and need a Quality Assurance Specialist who can lead it. The role is hands-on, owns all food-safety and regulatory requirements, and will expand our laboratory capabilities as we scale. The right candidate brings proven experience in a regulated food-manufacturing environment and the judgment to run a QA program with confidence. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and offers significant long-term growth.Typical Duties (including but not limited to):Supervise the QA Support Team and own all quality and food-safety initiatives from the Utica, NY facilityMaintain all certifications: SQF, Organic, Kosher, NonGMO, FDA, NYS Dept of Agriculture, SEDEX, and import/export programsOwn supplier approval and ongoing supplier complianceOversee Quality Control and Food Safety across Production, Warehouse, and MaintenanceEnsure compliant food labeling: FDA rules, industry standards, label claims, nutrition, weights & measuresManage customer requirements: product specs, audits, special programs, and label standardsOwn oil sensory program and flavor-profile verification (EVOO and other oils); support blending decisionsDeliver required training across the organizationLead and expand laboratory capabilitiesbuild new testing procedures, maintain equipment, and shape a lab that supports future growthExecute additional tasks necessary to protect compliance and support business growthPreferred experience and skills include:Associates degree and/or 4+ years applied QA experience in food manufacturingCredentials or willingness to obtain: SQF Practitioner, PCQI, HACCP, FSVPProven experience supervising a QA or QC teamDemonstrated success maintaining food-safety and quality programsExperience working in a manufacturing or lab environment, preferably food-relatedExceptional organization, project-ownership, and documentation disciplineClear, precise communication and strong
