HIM Specialist

A reputable Critical Access Hospital located approximately one hour east of Miles City is looking for a fulltime permanent Health Information Management (HIM) Manager to join their team.

Health Information Manager Key Responsibilities: As the HIM Manager you will oversee various HIM services including:

• Coding and reimbursement processes
  
• Release of information
  
• Birth and tumor registries
  
• Chart completion
  
• Health information privacy and documentation
  

Health Information Manager Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent education/certifications in health information management (HIM) is required. A Master s degree in business or health administration is preferred.
  
• Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in hospital and professional coding (both inpatient and outpatient) is required.
