We're purposeful, we're committed, and we're driven by our mission to alleviate pain, restore health and extend life for millions of people.Medtronic ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement (HEPR) team is currently looking for a Reimbursement Analyst who will partner with healthcare providers/decision makers, payers, and internal stakeholders to increase acceptance, adoption and ongoing utilization of ENT products and therapies.In this role, you will report to the Global Program Director for the ENT Therapies Business. You will work independently with the Health Economics Managers, Sr. Manager, healthcare providers, other internal stakeholders, to help ensure patient access to Medtronic Therapies.At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. This role will require some travel to enhance collaboration and ensure the successful completion of projects.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Works closely with the Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement staff to identify/solve coding, coverage or payment issues and provide support as necessaryAssists with creating training and education programs for sales force, physicians, case managers, medical directors, and billing personnel in clinics and hospitals.Handles the creation (design) and implementation of multiple forms of internal and external communication activities, programs and content guided by the Medtronic Brand and overall business strategy.Facilitates and implements reimbursement strategies and programs to obtain coverage, coding and payment from payer/providers.Provides reimbursement-related advice to product development teams, marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical and business leaders.Assists with payer opportunities and issues to resolve/decrease barriers to entry for the company's products or therapies.Conduct periodic analysis of Medicare regulations and communicate changes to Health Economics, Policy, and Reimbursement team. Assist with developing strategies and draft comments for advocacy with CMS and commercial payers as necessary and identify opportunities to enhance payment for therapies.Interacts and works closely with other departments, such as, but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical and Compliance to ensure adequate support and collaboration for reimbursement content.Ensures customer requirements are implemented while maintaining compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.Qualifications:Requires a Baccalaureate degreeMinimum of 2 years of relevant experience in medical device or pharmaceutical reimbursement, health economics, healthcare coding, or a related field.Nice to have:Strong understanding of reimbursement processes and payer/provider dynamics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable working virtually, with flexible workplace arrangements and business virtual technologies.Able to manage complex problems and projects while exercising independent decision making and analytical thinking skills, with minimal supervision.Excellent computer skills and advanced competency with MS Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, databases, graphic presentations.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strengths in the following areas: Adaptable, Problem Solving, Detail-Oriented, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Service, Process Improvement, Communication, Highly Organized, with strong Time-Management and Prioritization skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.Medtronic offers a competitive salary and flexible benefits package. PR) locations (USD): $78,400.00 - $117,600.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
