Position SummaryWe are looking for a Loan Processor who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial growth environment. This person will manage a pipeline of loan files, ensuring a smooth and timely loan transaction experience for our borrowers through the collection and analysis of documents and data. As a customer facing person, this individual is also responsible for providing our borrowers with exceptional customer service and transparency into the process.ResponsibilitiesReview loan file submissions, organize files, and input loan information into the companys loan origination systemOrder and verify third party services (e.g., credit, flood, appraisals, environmental reports, zoning reports)Collect and verify documentation related to borrower, asset, entity, and constructionEnsure loan files are in compliance with program guidelines, investor requirements, and federal and state laws/regulations (e.g., disclosures, notifications)Inform loan officer, agent, and borrower about discrepancies in title, appraisals, credit, employment, income, and other file related itemsObtain documentation to clear conditions prior to funding as required by underwritingSubmit completed file to underwriting department for approvalProactively monitor pipeline to set realistic closing dates, ensure timely funding of loans, and meet expected service levelsCommunicate with external parties to the loan including but not limited to borrower, realtor, title, closing agent, and appraisal management companyEvaluate processes and procedures for efficiency opportunities and implement process improvementsMaintain thorough knowledge of the loan origination system and proactively identify and implement work flow improvements within the systemOrganize and maintain daily pipeline huddles with sales, construction, and other stakeholders, as neededPrepare reports giving executives visibility into the loan pipeline, daily production activity, cycle times, and loan qualityManage and train junior processors and other employees, as requiredMaintain and update the Processing Policy and Procedure ManualAd hoc projects, as assignedQualificationsDeep knowledge of mortgage processing concepts, practices and proceduresKnowledge of federal and state regulatory guidelinesPipeline management experience requiredKnowledge of Encompass preferredStrong working knowledge of MS office and SharepointKnowledge of underwriting and/or loan structuring a plusProcess improvement experience (e.g., six sigma) a plusStrong attention to detailWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer service, conflict management, teamwork and coachingAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently within established timeframesNaturally inquisitive with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in daily activitiesAbility to work in a fast paced environment under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions; Ability to flexibly adjust priorities in a changing environmentSelf-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and high level of personal accountabilityPositive personality with a high level of integrityValid drivers license Education & ExperienceBachelors degree from an accredited college/university2+ years of commercial and/or residential loan processing experienceLocationWarren, NJEmployment TypeFull TimeBD Capital, LLC provides Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, marital status, citizenship status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable local, state, or federal law.
