BIM Manager PositionA local well-respected, growing Mechanical Engineering Company is looking to fill a BIM Manager position. This company has many years of proven excellence and shows no signs of slowing downPosition Responsibilities:Manage/assist in developing BIM Models of HVAC duct, piping and plumbing, and other areas of mechanical constructionIdentify interferences with the architectural, structural, and other MEP elementsFile clean-up, title block, and viewport set-up compile files for composite coordination, tagging and dimensioning model/drawings, etc.Detailing sections of the modelProduce details/drawings that comply with design criteria, contract requirements, and applicable codeCoordinate mechanical/plumbing models with other trade professionalsWork requires occasional travel to job sitesMaintain a safe work attitude and encourage the safety of others, especially when present at construction sitesOther duties as assignedExperience:Basic ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, specifications, construction standards, layouts, and job-specific requirementsBIM & VDC experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, & SheetmetalUnderstanding and interpreting architectural and structural details as they affect the MEP installationsA working knowledge AutoCad, Revit, NavisWorks, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)Familiarization with applicable Plumbing and Mechanical building codes and safety lawsCommercial HVAC - Chilled water, condensor water systems, coordination (10 years total experience), Hospitals, Universities, Court Houses, CondosDoes this sound like you?If interested in this position, please email a confidential copy of your resume to jay.petsche@gogpac.com.
